Saturday night. Mom's Weekend.
We had a line at 7:30 p.m., which is almost unheard of. The line was full of college-age girls and their mothers. I must have been yelled at by 150 moms. But I've been yelled at by my own mom, so it didn't faze me.
The best part were the two girls and their moms who waited in line for a full hour. When it was finally their turn to come in, they didn't want to pay the $2 cover charge and left.
Remember, we aren't making you wait outside because we want to, it's because we have to. Even if it doesn't "look busy" inside, there are still capacity laws we have to follow, or we risk getting a ticket. And it's not cheap. So please, go easy on the door guys! It's not their fault.
What sort of idiot stands in line for a full hour and doesn’t notice that the door guy is taking money from every person who enters? That takes a special kind of idiot…
