It’s Maynard’s birthday!

Maynard worked at The Sandbar for a couple of years, at the door and behind the bar occasionally. He’s left our fair city to be an insurance agent, but he manages to make it back to town for frequent visits. Maynard also got engaged recently to Brooke.  His little brother John has been hired at The Sandbar, so we still have a Maynard around.

Drink a toast today in honor of his birthday.

Farewell, Jake and John

Jake and John are off to Australia.

The boys have been super employees at The Sandbar for the last year. They are leaving for Australia, to play and work for several months. Updates on their travels will be posted here….assuming they don’t forget about those of us back in Lawrence!

We will miss them.
