We witnessed a blessed moment in the lives of two young people this evening. At about 9 pm a man and woman entered into the sacred act of engagement in front of a crowd of lucky onlookers of which I was proud to be a part of. The groom-to-be had Heather turn down the music and he dropped to one knee after a few nervous words of the romantic variety. The future bride responded with a very classy and elegant "…well yeah…" I fear the beaming groom may have spoken a little early in his quest to keep his beloved by his side forever, because I fear the new bride may not have "peaked" in her appetite for life, so to speak, at such a young age. However, we all here at The Sandbar wish them the bst and we will toast them thoroughly on this sacred night. Good thing for her we don’t serve food.
