The Sandbar, a Tropical Drink Paradise!
The Sandbar wouldn't be the best beach bar in Lawrence without a great selection of tropical drinks. From the original favorite Bahama Mama and the crowd pleasing Shark Attack to newer concoctions like Hurricanes and Pink Flamingos, we have a tropical flavor to please everyone.
Sandbar tropical drinks are like Disneyland in a glass. Every drink is adorned with colorful straws, umbrellas, and toy surprises. You never know what you'll get- it could be a miniature rubber ducky, a flip flop keychain, or even an inflatable floating drink holder!

Bahama MamaThe original tropical drink that made the Sandbar famous, the Bahama Mama is a sweet, mouth-watering mix of pineapple, orange, and pina colada flavors. It's deep orange color reminds us of a Key West sunset. |

Shark AttackThe Shark Attack is our best-selling tropical drink. Manager Dave discovered this drink in 2003 while on a vacation and knew our customers would love it. It looks like the ocean; tastes like a cherry limeade; and is adorned with a toy shark full of sweet cherry-flavored juice. |

Dirty BananaThe Dirty Banana is the Sandbar's most popular shot. Also discovered by vacationing staff, this creation got its start as a frozen drink- but was quickly modified into a shot. It's a favorite of mermaids dancing on the bar, patrons taking a shotski, and burly men and college girls alike. |

Pink FlamingoThe Pink Flamingo debuted after an Independence Day party. It's a light, refreshing pink lemonade-flavored concoction with just enough vodka to make you get up and dance. It's decorated with a flamingo toy and sometimes an inflatable flamingo drink holder, if you're lucky. |
