The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce has a networking group for "young professionals" to mix, mingle, and socialize. Every year, this group has a putt-putt tournament that splits participants up into teams and sends them off to the participating bars to see who has the best miniature golf skills.
The Sandbar has participated in this event every year (I think) with a putt-putt hole that Dave designed and built. He sets it up on the beach upstairs.
I planned to have pictures of the fun to share with you, but I wasn't able to get to the bar to take them myself, and the favor I requested didn't happen for whatever reason, so you'll have to use your imagination. Or go upstairs at The Sandbar and check it out, it was still set up earlier today.
Neither Heather or I could get your camera to work. I think Phil took some pictures on his camera.
it’s kind of a crappy camera anyway, but i don’t know what was wrong with it, it worked fine for me.
i won’t see phil’s pictures until sometime next year, so we’ll just have to pretend we have pictures!
Too bad about the camera, I’d love to see pictures of Dave’s hole. I’m sure those young professionals really enjoyed Dave’s hole. Dave’s hole was probably the best hole of them all! (damn, I leave town for one weekend and see what I miss!)
